Excellent price for a quality branded cable. You can the same cable for a similar price on ebay, but it will be some brandless chinese cheapo jobbie, and it will porbably take 2 - 4 weeks to arrive from overseas!
£1.99 with PES voucher!
Good deal especiallly with the pes voucher - just ordered @ £1.99 - thanks OP.
Should see the price in PC World, think it was about £40! Found one in Argos in a rush for about £15
Not bad, but if there are no deals, go to Ebay and do a search. Gold plated ones are about £2, normal ones about £1.50. This includes delivery. Had to get one recently as my sister got a hand me down monitor but they person wanted to keep the lead.
Looks like its been reduced for a reason, poor reviews on, seems to be an issue with this cable, nice price though
10 foot is far too long for a VGA cable imo, especially at higher resolutions.
can i ask do u just plug in pc and tv or do u need some software to get this going
agreed with 10ft being too long for most.

It's analogue, so unless you really really need 10ft, keep it as short as possible to reduce interference etc and stop it ruining your display quality. Or if you need that long and have the option, use DVI/HDMI (being digital, cable length doesn't affect these as such).

But if you really do need a 10ft DB15, its a decent offer.
Perfect, just what I need.

Strange, then, how i manage to run 10m and longer cables from pc's/laptop to digital projectors every day of the week

Strange, then, how nobody said that it wouldn't work at all and you seem to be conjuring up thoughts into your odd little head.

He said 10ft is too long for most. Seeing as most people run VGA cables from their PC to their monitor, usually about 1m away, 10ft IS too long for most.

It's a known fact that cable length on analogue cables degrades signal quality. Long cables also look a mess as you have to do something with the excess, and most home users would just leave it dangling round the floor.

And if you don't understand that, maybe you should find a new job, as you're obviously not very good at yours.

Yes, I've worked with many AV installers in the past.
