These were +200.00 rrp and selling for that, I have one and they make the tv pic a lot better.

Each PureAV Power Console is packed with innovative features, such as Multi-Phase PureFilterT Circuitry, designed to remove electrical noise and provide clean and clear power to all of your valuable equipment. It isolates audio, video and digital components, and prevents noise created by one connected component from contaminating the entire system. Built-in Advanced Overvoltage Protection automatically disconnects power from your equipment when the input voltage reaches a dangerous level, and restores power automatically when the voltage returns to a safe level. To deal with threats from sources other than your AC lines, all PureAV Power Consoles come with coaxial cable, phone and broadband Ethernet line protection.

I don't believe the hype on these. These are for audiophiles etc that believe gold plated optical cables give ya clearer sounds or Monster HDMI cables give ya a clearer pircture.

Most Decent amps or TVs should have good enough PSUs to filter any glitches in the supply out already. My Denon has seperate power supplies for each channel etc.

These are just glorified surge protectors imo.

Well took the plug out and then put in the wall and had it on the same show and it was not as sharp.

I enjoy mine anyway

Also this is HOT UK DEALS not I dont like so voting cold, (find it cheaper)

Reasonable money for a surge protector. The coils and caps inside these things are heavy and expensive to buy. Not sure you actually need one though in this country.

I just didn't think it was a Hot deal that is why I voted that way. If you're happy with it then that's what counts and it's only my opinion that I don't think these are worth the money or needed in most cases.

Have quite a bit of home cinema equipment running thru one, so I think it's a good deal.

Personally don't believe that it improves picture or sound, but as a sophisticated surge protector and as an insurance, it's certainly worth it if you poured a fair bit of money into your equipment.

'Well took the plug out and then put in the wall and had it on the same show and it was not as sharp.'

Are you for real?

I almost wonder the point of posting this kind of thing. This is a general public forum. Just like there would be no point debating quantum mechanics in public, there is little chance of getting good responses about mains conditioning etc.

Incidentally though... super find. I know this is not super high end but one would have difficulty finding a 10 way 'block' of any quality for this amount of money. Even for the purpose of tidying your system and getting the leads sorted, this is superb value. Rated Hot.

For £45.80 + a little bit back through quidco I'm happy that I ordered one. Not really fussed on benefits of cleaner electrical power and it's affects on picture / sound as I reckon any difference would be hard for the average joe or anyone with a life to tell the difference...

Reason I bought it is that I can at least have a neater and safer way of connecting the 10 or so powered gadgets / console / set-top boxes in my AV cabinet. Also once my amp is connected I can have some items not wasting electricity in standbye mode unnecessarily as they'll only switch on when the amp is powered. Thanks OP!

For more info (good and bad but mostly the former) see this link.

I have the PF50 and it's excellent. Comes with a whacking great warranty against lightning strikes etc too. Awesome bit of kit for the money and you won't find any kind of branded or no-name equivalent for anything like this kind of money. Hot deal for deffo.
