Hi all,

Just took advantage of this good price on the following ipod accessory:
Belkin TuneBase II FM Transmitter, Charger & Cradle (Product code: 001739)

Its the cheapest price on the net that I've seen and has received fantastic reviews.
See the following link to the Apple website for RRP (£68.46) and 8 reviews:

This item is selling for about £50 at as a comparison.
Argos is selling for £48.89 at the moment too.

Only downside of this price from Dixons is standard shipping at £4.95.
But I bought a memory stick with this item which brought the total to over £49 and then I used the FREEDEL49 code to get free shipping on the entire order.

Next best offer I found was at from a private seller for £39.40 + £4.25 shipping:

I know this is not a 'deal' as such but thought I'd post it as I was searching for ages for a good Wireless FM Ipod transmitter and couldn't find any guidance on hotukdeals.
Hope this helps someone in a similar position looking for help.

If anyone finds a better deal for this item anywhere else please post a reply as I'm new to this!

Completely useless gadget - don't bother unless you like your music mixed with random radio stations. Really good if you sit in your car on the drive and don't move though!
Thanks for the feedback.
Received the item the other day in the post.
Will try it out and post how it fairs in the car.
Hi everyone,
Have tried this item out in the car and it works like a dream!
I'm not sure why "0907spring" experienced such poor performance but with my one I was over the moon.
A word of sensible caution which might explain the bad feedback above for this device, if the reception on the radio experiences interruption/static then obviously you have to take advantage of the scanning feature on the tunebase II by simply pressing the button. The device will then search for the best available frequency IN THAT PARTICULAR LOCATION and then you simply retune your radio to the frequency accordingly.
Nonetheless, I drove about listening for an hour and only had to retune when driving from west london to northwest london (as an example).
Also, the device can save 2 favourite frequencies for quick flipping between the two which is all you need for use in London really.
Anyway, a great deal and a great item is my feedback in response to the above posts.
Hope this helps.
Btw, I think the TuneBase 2 is apparently superior to the 1st version according to reviews but I'm not sure how.
I'm guessing the 2nd one just works well compared to the 1st one.
