At least three times the price elsewhere!! Upto £40 in many places...

£39.99 at PC World !!!

Reckon they've mispriced this and then reduced it as well!

I bought two - one for my ipaq 314 satnav and one for the missus! Rude not to at that price...
Or they've just read the reviews and thought "how the hell are we gonna flog this utter tosh?"

Good luck with your purchase. I could try and find your a hot deal on return envelopes if you'd like?
Oops...nasty reviews!!!

I can already feel a chill coming on

If they really are as duff as they say, they will be free postage to return as faulty.

This 'switching off' thing seems to be a feature of nearly all of these transmitters for some it a legal issue in the UK relating to silent radio transmissions? It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

I've got a Veho one which does this - the problem with that one is you can't turn it back on without removing the batteries!!! I can't even get rid of that one back to eBuyer - when you submit an RMA request they replace it without you having to return the damn thing!!!

I'd cancel before it goes to "ready to dispatch" if I were you.

I've not used this, but the reviews are pretty set in stone. You'd normally get a mixed bag on even really bad products... but 16 out of 23?! Strange from Belkin...
Good price so voted hot

If I sold you a turd for a quid less than Amazon would you vote it hot? Bizarre logic, but each to their own.

withabix: I've been in a similar situation with ebuyer. Drop me a PM if you need a hand, as I know someone at ebuyer who's very helpful!
