Manufacturer's Description
Now you can use your iPod, PDA, MP3, CD, cassette player, PC, or laptop to listen to your favorite tunes through any FM stereo receiver. The Belkin TuneCast II Mobile FM Transmitter wirelessly connects portable music players to your car or home stereo quickly and easily using FM radio waves. Just plug the TuneCast II into the headphone jack of your iPod, PDA,MP3, CD, or cassette player; or connect it to your PC or laptop computer. Tune your car stereo or receiver to any clear FM frequency, and enjoy your iPod music experience with more sound and fewer wires.
We add a great convenience feature with our unique Auto ON/OFF function. TuneCast II also features 4 programable memory slots allowing you to save the clearest station wherever you go.

TuneCast II includes a Belkin Mobile Power Cord that connects to your car's cigarette lighter-so you can preserve your batteries as you play your tunes on the road (will not charge the TuneCast II). This product is compliant with the EU standard for Band II Low Power Devices for use in Germany, Switzerland and Iceland. For all other countries, please refer to National Legislation for use.

*Use of short range FM transmitters in the UK without a broadcasting license is currently prohibited, however this product can be used in other European countries without a license. Countries where these can be used include Germany, Iceland, Switzerland, and America.

I would go with the Belkin product any day though. I think the quality of the product is much better IMHO.

I am quite sure that this is the same device. They look identical.
UPD: Sorry, I am wrong. The Play.com one got memory buttons and Belkin one doesn't.

The law changed on 8th Dec, Amazon (and most other retailers) just haven't updated their info yet.

The Belkin does have memory buttons. I use the same model and it's ace. PC Pro recommended it and so do I! And I paid a damn sight more for it too... £27 at PC World and thought I had a bargain.

On Play.com model there are four buttons right under display. These buttons are (left to right): Set, M1, M2 and M3. Is this the same om Belkin? There are no buttons could be seen on Amazon picture.

I ordered mine from Amazon on the 8th of December and they still have not dispatched it! Amazon can be very frustrating sometimes :santa:
