The Belkin TuneTalk for iPod presents a great solution for iPod users who have something memorable to capture. Now you can record memos, lectures, interviews, or conversations-simply by plugging the TuneTalk into your iPod. The iPod device's abundant storage capacity lets you store hundreds of hours of audio. You can easily review your audio notes later by using your earbud headphones or computer. You can also copy recordings to your desktop or notebook computer for storage, editing, or sending to others via email. The Belkin TuneTalk brings a whole new dimension to your iPod - it's not just for tunes anymore.

Looking at the photo, it looks like it's intended for the older models that had a little aux connector next to the 3.5mm socket. So I would guess it won't.

From what I remember, these also record in uncompressed .wav format, which will take up quite a bit of space on your iPod, guess you can't go wrong for £1.99 though!

I think you are right, the last iPods that had that connector next to the headphone jack was the 'Click Wheel' (4th Gen). So that's about 4 years ago.
