Most phones and PDA's have wireless as well as bluetooth though?

I just thought it looked pretty cool, small enough to carry around with you and then get it out connect to your PDA when needed.

Foldable keyboards are really expensive (not those rubbish rubber ones obviously). Does anyone know if this will work with any IR connector?

Would be brilliant if this was BT or Wifi instead of IR.

Good price tho.

I've just bought this to use with my iPAQ, for this price you can't really go wrong. As far as I am aware, IR consumes less power than BT so your battery will hold up better. I'm also not keen on the idea of having BT on for extended periods of time. Take a look at this for a quick comparison of IR/BT:

(a bit dated but it sold me)

It's INFRA RED, so yes it's wireless in the respect that it has no wires, but not Wireless as in radio frequency!

My old PDA has IR, but to be honest it is a museum piece!

I have one of these - they don't work! I can never get the infrared ligned up and working properly.
