good price, just not sure about the size of the flash, since the earlier version has 4M while the later one has 2M, both capable of (different version of) DD-WRT tho.

Good price, diabolical product.

Doesn't cope well with p2p traffic and the QOS feature is useless. On the upside, older versions (read 3years and older) have DD-WRT support.

is this any good for a novice taking wireless laptop upstairs with cable modem with virgin ( lost with your comments )

Had one of these and it kept rebooting itself. Useless product and won't touch another Belkin router. Stick with Linksys or Netgear and you can't go wrong!

thanks for this, i ordered one for my sister who doesn't have a router and is getting another laptop at xmas for my niece

i have a belkin router myself, i'm not sure if it's the same model, the photo looks the same and the original price was similar, and i've not had any problems with mine. in fact it was really easy to setup and get working. i don't use p2p though, and neither will my sister as she doesn't have a clue about computers. as long as they can get both computers working to surf the web that's all that matters

I have a netgear wireless router from Virgin that is up for grabs, PM me and I'll put it in the for sale thread for it.

Very bad router, wireless always drops on it so you have to manually unplug and re-plug just to get WLAN back up. Bad chipset supposedly - more like stupid devs.
