I thought belkin were supposed to be good????

Even at this price I think it's OK? It's 11n afterall. Would be better if it was express54G though.

The model number seems to be wrong, Google brings up a USB one.

Nothing at all wrong with Belkin, never yet had a fault with any of their products - as you say, it's a good price on an N1 card.

Agree, i've had my Belkin wireless Router for over 5 years and it's never once let me down!!

Wrong model number given by Currys (& PC World) ... appears to be a F5D8013uk.

Great price.

Note this won't work with an ExpressCard laptop.

Ive had Belkin for 7 years and not a problem . Some small people just carry gripes in there life . Belkin rocks

Just a word of warning where Currys website descriptions and model numbers don't tally - you CAN end up in a mindless loop of them sending the WRONG item not just once, not just twice, but three times despite spending literally HOURS to avoid that happening - I know from bitter, bitter, never to be repeated, experience.

I would certainly recommend an "at store" transaction so you can if necessary just WALK AWAY if/when it goes pear shape.

And as regards BELKIN - similarly excellent experience with their products over the last 4 years - though I'd probably look at eBuyer's own branding Plexus range of products for bargain wireless kit nowadays.

I have no problem with their adapters, just the routers. Ive got another one here that keeps playing up. Going to take it back and get a netgear one.

er no idiot that's my experience. Anyway, i work in the IT/Telco industry as a consultant, trust me Belkin network equipment sucks...have bought a couple of Belkin network items before and they were rubbish.....their ups' are fine for SOHO users.

for the hone, dlink or netgear are the best - for cable modem routers the Dlink DIR-655 i have is regarded as the best wireless n router (for now), linksys kit is only ok, which is surprising seeing as they are a subsidary of Cisco!
plexus, or is it placenta, cheap more often than not means its probably just landfill
