From the Manufacturer Experience fast wireless network connections at an affordable price with the Belkin N150 Enhanced Wireless Modem Router. Simply connect the N150 modem router to your broadband Internet connection, and in minutes you'll be sharing the connection with all your network computers at a speed of up to 150 Mbps and a range of up to 300 meters

N150 Technology Offers Hiccup-Free Streaming Media
The N150 router offers wireless transmission at up to 150 Mbps with a long-distance range of up to 300 meters, so you can roam throughout your house while still maintaining a connection. The fast performance and great range let you easily stream digital media, so you'll have access to music and videos anywhere in your home without worry of hiccups and long waits. If you're playing online games, you'll appreciate the superior responsiveness -- connecting to the internet with the N150 might mean the difference between a win and a loss.

For maximum reliability and performance, pair the N150 modem router with Belkin's Enhanced USB adapter.

Compatibility with 802.11b , 802.11g, and 802.11n
The N150 router supports the newest accessories and products that use the 802.11n protocol, but also works with older 802.11b and 802.11g products. When you upgrade to this new router, you won't have to throw out and replace your old legacy products; keep using them until you wish or need to upgrade to something faster.

Push-Button Security Keeps You Safe
Network security hasn't been any simpler, thanks to Wi-Fi Protected Setup; simply push a button and you'll be protected from snoopers trying to hack into your network. The router also supports 256-bit WPA/WPA2-Personal and 64-/128-bit WEP encryption. Additionally, the modem router has firewall capabilities including NAT (Network Address Translation) and SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection).

Four Ethernet Ports for Wired Connection
For computers without wireless connection, the N150 router has four 10/100 RJ45 jacks.

Smart Design Gives Status at a Glance
The attractive enclosure looks good on your desk and offers status information at a glance. Green LEDs light up to let you know if there is activity in: Security, Wireless, Wired, Router, Modem, and Internet.

The N150 router is simple to set up and uses an HTML browser-based interface that can be accessed with any browser. To use the Setup Assistant, you'll need either Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac OS 10.4/10.5.

Got one of these last year faild within a week and required resetting every 5 hours or so. The two replacements I had went the same way so got a refund in the end

I got this piece of sh*t, if I stream anything over wireless it will freeze and need a reboot.

Echo the other two comments, ok if you don't mind rebooting it every day!

I agree with others. Had a Netgear router which broke and when I put this in the same place it could barely cover my house. Gave it to a relative with a smaller place and replaced it with the Tenda router that is a similar price to this but shed loads better! .

I will avoid any Belkin product. Got several routers and wireless adapters with Belkin before, none of them working properly.:(

AVOID THIS ROUTER. Very slow wireless and even using LAN my Xbox could not even play multiplayer because it was so slow. Changed to a cheap unknown old router i got at the car boot and all is well. I wasted my £20 I can give it to anyone for free if they pay postage...

Avoid this, I bought one last time it was listed. It had bad reviews on Amazon but to be fair it does work well when setup correctly, thats where every one gets it wrong. It very difficult to setup and you need a degree in IT to do it. Luckily I have a IT background and set it up, took a while though. You'v been warned.

Got to agree with everyone else. I would avoid Belkin networking products at ANY price. It's just not worth the grief it'll probably cause you. Much better to stick that £15 towards something better (which would be almost anything).

I work as a Network Architect and even I can't get the router to not hang when I'm streaming content.

Also as I type this I heard my VPN go down on my work-laptop due to the router dropping the connection which happens so many times a day!

Need to buy a new router but looking at changing to fibre so holding out.

My parents picked one of these up for me to setup for them. What a waste of time, router hangs/drops or is very slow on wireless. One to avoid.
derekc2002#12
unreliable, always hanging and needing a reset, I binned it after a couple of weeks - avoid at any price.

Utterly confused as to how an item that does not receive one single positive comment can attract 100+ heat.
Suspect the bitterness of poor quality will outlast the sweetness of low price.

Just received this item from Pure Products for a temp router... Box was damaged and internal packaging torn asunder... Definitely not new and had an old Argos sticker on it
