I guess tesco are trying to fool people here. The 500ml tub is 3.99£ so how can this be a good deal.. They are just trying to get rid of their small tub stock.
#2
Well is the 500ml tub of Ben & Jerrys is £4 and you get 600ml this way, isnt this deal better as your getting more?
#3
is belgian choc up? tht tastes 2 good.
#4
you are paying one quid more for 100ml more.Is that saving?. god get your accounts right. The only good thing about the deal is the variety you get for 5 quid.I dont c any more advantage.

79.8p / 100ml when buying a single 500ml
83.3p / 100ml when buying 4 150ml tubs. ...

Sheesh! Calm down! If you want to eat 500ml in one go then buy the big tub. If you want to share portions out or have some different flavours, get the individual pots. They're both hot deals.

No, the ******s don't sell cookies and cream in 100ml tubs. If they did, I'd buy them. 500ml tubs just mean you can't stop eating them and so eat 500ml. 100ml tubs are just right for giving yourself a treat and not turning into a fat lard ****.

its true, they are a handy size

500ml tubs are just small enough to fit in one hand, with a spoon in the other

I dont think they are trying to fool anyone its just an offer which gives you the choice to try different flavours/brands at a good price.

The 500ml Haagen-Dazs are actually reduced to £3

God i think there some right muppets on hot deals, they try to put every deal down, they should be on jeremy kyle;-)

I agree with the previous comment i'd prefer to buy 150 ml tubs rather than 500ml because as you said with 500ml you can't stop eating

but when they do the 500ml ben and jerrys 1/2 price then thats a different story

love both types of ice cream, its the type of ice cream i cant put down until the pot is finished haha! thanks for that fancy some right now!! :)

Voted cold for good reason. At this price, you're paying £1.25 per tub, when they're usually £1.50, so it's a small saving to start with. Then consider that the small tubs are overpriced anyway, even with this offer you're getting less for your money than a regular tub at full price.

GOD The people have gone nuts here. The 500ML ICE CREAM IS 3£ so 1litre is 6£.
And the guys are voting hot for a deal that costs 5£ for 600ml.
I Know that 150 ml can be used by the individual person but the 500ml can be used by the whole family of 4 and that will be cheaper if someone sensible costs it out properly.Waitrose doing two 500ml tubs for 5.I guess TESCO have been succesful in fooling people
Still cold from me.

You know you don't need to eat it in one go, you can put it back in the freezer, the same place you're keeping the 3 small tubs you're not eating all in one go...

But yeah variety of flavours for roughly the same £/ml, and possibly assisting people in portion control if you do tend to eat the full 500ml all at once (or maybe not if you eat all 4x150ml all at once instead!), make this a good alternative to the 500ml tub even though for the B&J 500ml £3.99 it's about 5% more expensive per unti volume.

500ml of ice cream is about enough for two servings - one small tub is a waste of time, you need two - unless you're fat and on a diet. I suppose the small tubs are ok for anorexics as well.

They are actually £1.39 each so the total saving is only 56p and they seem to have this offer on all the time. I like the idea of the small tubs if you want to try a flavour but the 4 for £5 isn't the greatest saving ever!!

so?

do you expect the same vale wwhen buing 5 smaller tubs?

a singe coke can is more then a multipack....

mumbojumbo
Don't be daft. By your reasoning no-one should buy individual yoghurt pots, individual packets of crisps, small sized pizzas, etc and should only the large family sized packs!

But you're not. You're buying 4 pots... For the £5, you could get a much bigger portion....
