Hi, this is my first ad so please be gentle.
I know this topic came up about 2 days ago, but that was for Ben & Jerrys and Haagen-Dazs priced at £2 each. Went to Asda today and came across this offer, B&J 500ml and H-Dazs 500ml 4 for £5. Great for the summer time or the winter time in bed watching a movie.

Amazing price, I don't think they had it in our local Asda tonight though, Asda seem to roll out their offers at different times.

#11
the roll back price for 500ml is £3.91 down too £2.00.can you really see them doing this for £1.25 a tub ?? no is my thought
#12
If it's 4 for £5 it's a very hot deal. Can anyone confirm this- online it's still £2 each

I'll be VERY surprised if it's valid, in my local store at least - didn't even have the 2 for £5 deal there...
#14
The Asda I bought it from is in Leyton, London.
#15
that is a fantastic offer, though getting through that much B&J is bound to spoil any diet or even your waist size. heat and rep given for a great find
#16
Online can only see it for £2 but can't add to basket to see if offer there,as I don't have an account there, not setting up to see as they don't deliver round here to me,otherwise I shop there.
#17
im waiting for someone to confirm this is not a deal.it does not make any sense too sell 500ml tubs at this price.i believe its for the smaller tubs like the ones you get in blockbusters sometimes.

My guess is that it is supposed to be 4 small tubs for a fiver, but that the store in London where the OP bought his from has priced up the wrong ones?

But if I hear any different, I'll be straight around to ASDA's, heheh!
#19
The offer really is 4 for £5 for the 500ml's, might be a mistake from my Asda, but thats what I paid.
#20
this is defo only on 150ml in store must have been a mistake. as online its on the 150ml ones

all asda`s have scanning tills .if one store is selling them at this price they all are.there is no proof of this offer apart from the person who posted it.i dont believe it its as likely as a £100 hdtv from musthave100

Funny how I couldn't get the 2 for £5 offer at mine from a few weeks back, then eh? Must have been an exception to the rule...

i was in asda 2 days ago and the b/chocolate was £1.25 for 500ml tub , all the other flavours were £2 for 500ml, got another 8 tubs today for £10
#37
I was in asda penryn yesterday and I saw hagen das for £2 a tub I think but no cheaper. And I did look.

The green and blacks was £3.99 a tub which is a shame as they are the only people left to do a decent plain chocolate. All the other chocolates have stuff in them.

Sassie is correct.
Asda will have an overall pricing policy but in effect regions, local areas and even individual stores could quite easily have different prices showing due to local compettion and market influences.
Normally national promotions will be just that and priced the same in every store. There may well be regional, area or even store specific promotions though.
