True price, £136.28 delivered.
Good price, so why spoil it with a misleading post :-(

Quidco is far from guaranteed!

Someone ALWAYS has to find something to whine about. I think I was pretty clear by writing "inc 3.5% quidco", and then explaining exactly how the deduction was calculated.

Don't accuse me of trying to mislead people. Like most people on here I'm just trying to share a good price I found for a product. It's no wonder I don't post more often.
#3
Just so we're clear:

website price pre vat = £110.99
after vat price = £130.41
delivery = £4.99

total inc vat + delivery = £136.28

Quidco discount is on pre vat price = 3.5% of £110.99 = £3.88

Total after quidco discount = £136.28 - £3.88 = £132.39

OK?? So if you're scared about not getting your £3.88 back then yeah, it's £136.28.

FYI - I bought one of these monitors at the time I posted the deal, and it's already tracked in Quidco.

Well you haven't changed it to meet the posting guidelines, so yes, it is a misleading post.

You know what, because I actually want people to see the bargain rather than having a pedant like you have it ripped down, I've changed it.

Hope somebody actually appreciates this deal.

Yes, I do.
Passed it on to someone I know looking for a 24" monitor, voted hot.

Don't forget to tell them about the £3.88 from quidco

FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!! Like we used to shout in the playground 20yrs ago..

Other than that, HOT DEAL!!!

Don't worry about some people on here mancdaz. Rulez is rulez and all that, but I'm sure we'd get a lot more hot deals posted, if it wasn't for the comments some people get in reply. How often do you see 'it's my first post so please be gentle'? - it's ridiculous!

Anyway, cracker of a deal and voted hot. Hope somebody gets a bargain from this post!

Couldn't agree more.
This should be a place for people to share what they've found and anything that discourages that means that everyone loses out.

As Quidco isn't 100% guaranteed, the agreed practice on HUKD is to post the price you pay before Quidco comes off. nihcaj was right, even if he wasn't as nice as he could have been

That said, hot deal :)

I bought this monitor off ebuyer for £155 two months ago.

Its bright, very crisp with excellent viweing angles for a TN panel. And it looks very nice. No dead pixels on my one and haven't noticed any ghosting.

downsides are it feels a bit cheap (but at this price they all do) and the colours look slightly washed out. It takes a lot of tinkering with the settings to get a good vibrant image.

I was happy with the 155 i spent so this is even better.
#14
Shame no HDMI connection unless you buy a dvi to hdmi cable but still hot for me

bargain for a 1080 24" screen with dvi

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice - I ordered a Dell ST2410 (for £155) in January and am still waiting for the monitor. Do you think its worth cancelling and getting this instead?

Is this a better monitor or should I wait it out for the Dell (They said it should be here by the 24th). This is the deal/spec of the Dell:

Thanks,

Northern Ireland delivery is £9.99 which is a shame. Hate the way retailers jack the delivery charge up for NI when in real life it doesn't cost any extra to post.

But it does with parcel companies. But no with Royal Mail you say, well no, but the subsidies it. Besides Parcel Force would charge you £11.83 so £9.99 not to bad.

I ordered this, recieved next day. Hdmi and 2ms response time for £20 more. Couldn't be happier. Ps3 and pc looks amazing on it.
#21
Just noticed the company advertise this to work with the PS3 but no HDMI and no speakers so NOT ideal for the PS3 but perfect for a PC.
#22
Do I need to buy a mount to wallmount this or does it actually come with one? if no can someone point me in the right direction for a suitable one?
Thanks

Good price OP, voted hot..but I agree with nihcaj...the Quidco discount shouldn't be included in the final price.
I've got numerous claims with both Quidco and Topcashback which have failed to be paid, ranging from a few pounds to a lot more. It's unfair to include it in the price as it's not guaranteed or some people just don't use it - some people are in too much of a hurry and don't even read posts in these threads, so signing upto Quidco would be like running the marathon :w00t:

So because someone can't be arsed to save themselves money, everyone else has pussy foot around them and make it simple. Surely to God no one is going to simply look at the Quidco included price, not bother with Quidco, buy it without considering it or checking it out and THEN get arsey because they didn't get £3.88.

At the end of the day, we should not be encouraging this hand holding of a nation. If they are too stupid to work it out for themselves then sod em. It's about time people got a bloody backbone and started to think for themselves.

Somat like that anyway!

Don't know much about monitors but the Dell seems like a slightly better option - I'd hold out for that.

i collectedt this 23" Digimate from Scan few weeks ago when it was £108, Its brilliant, i highly recommend this, dont think an extra inch makes a big difference to be fair, go for this its a gr8 screen at full 1080p. At the time when i collected they had it on a today only offer and were giving away a free digital photo viewer keyring with it, with a 1 inch screen, what a waste of invention, but good for a little child.

Damn, awesome price. I think I have the 22" model, which I bought for £135 about 5 months ago. Mine may be a slightly different model I dunno.

I'd get it if I didnt have a decent one already - full 1080p, and it has some really good specs, I dunno what people are complaining about

Some people have nothing better to do than complain about the smallest things, I too am sick of posting. It appears this site is no longer the great community it used to be, instead it has had it's heart ripped out of it by those who choose to shred a deal for the same if it. "cold, because I'm a man and I don't need a vibrator"........."I vote cold because it's January why would I buy a tshirt"........ " cold from me because I'm allergic to eggs"..........THEN DONT BLOODY VOTE.
Well done, great post great price, with or without the quidco.

But does it handle encrypted sources (Blu Ray)? And since this is aimed at PCs, I would much rather have 16:10 format with 1920:1200 resolution. So great price, but not for me.

Agreed.

Hot or cold? Who cares. If the deal works for you then thank the OP and move on. It's almost become like an internet version of the X Factor auditions; people post deals, then an ever-growing line of Simon Cowells shoot them down.
