The deal is OK but I read somewhere that BenQ-Siemens already filed for bankruptcy. Curious about the warranty.

Your warranty should be with the retailer you bought it from.

Benq Siemens have withdrawn from the European market and shut down all their operating bases outside the far east, they are still alive and well in Taiwan & China, though their phone operation there is under review due to heavy losses. Their other operating arms under the Benq parent brand (Monitors, LCDs, etc) are doing very well. Warranties shouldn't be an issue, but the quality (control) of the the phones since the Benq-Siemens merger has been very poor, though this is reputed to be one of the better ones. Still too expensive for me though...
