why the negative?
this is a good make, spec, price and retailer!
Good weight for a front suspension bike - very high spec. I suspect the negative is based around an outwardly similar looking Tesco bike for £40.
Will only suit a narrow band of cyclists (compared to the 150,000 members on this forum) who appreciate the spec.
Also BeOne are relatively unknown in the UK (only Chain Reaction Cycles in Northern Ireland as distributor as far as I can see).
I have a BeOne road bike and it is well made and a great spec for the price (unbeatable). Unfortunately both wheels were out of true - out of the box. Chain Reaction paid the bill (no quibble) for a local bike shop to true them. Whilst it is far better to use a local bike shop to assemble the bike and guarantee it - these prices make it hard to resist mail order.:?
Good spec, good price - Hot
voted hot great spec, those whovoted negative get down to halfrauds!
Hot - if you don't understand the quality of this don't neg it.
A cracking price for a cracking piece of kit!
nice bike, good spec!

I agree with you on that.....

I am on my fourth bike in 3 months (Kona to Marin to Trek). To be honest I have not really heard this make mentioned too often..... then again I don't hear much about Orange or Klein so obviously it's just an extra level up from where I am now (£600 bikes).
Looking at the spec, this seems a very good price. Could anyone that has a BeOne comment on what the frame is like? I'm just wondering if that's where they've saved the money, and I'd end up using this for its components on a different frame.

If the frame's poor, then I'll look at something else, as I'd like the ability to lock the front suspension, which you obviously can't do (easily) with an air-based system. If the frame's good, then I'm very much poorer for having seen this post.
