Why cold? All these night voters are weirdos.
Except me, obviously :)
Can recommend highly, do what they say and keep you waterproof, when does the name Berghaus ever let you down? Seriously?

Is that meant to be cheap ?

It is cheap for Berghaus. It isn't cheap if you don't care about quality and having a breathable material.
Let the doubters buy cheap and buy twice!!!

These are quality and at that price I'm in
I have these , out yesterday in the heavy rain for around 4 hours and these kept me bone try. would recommend . heated
Hot, ordered.
Same price at Go Outdoors, if you have one close.
There's no hole in front to have a wee.

no problem they are waterproof
Ordered thanks - Hoping to learn to snowboard in the next few months - Crossing my fingers these will do with some decent thermals underneath? :{

ordered - thanks!
I've used these extensively over the last few years while doing a lot of field work in the outer hebrides. They're relatively hard-wearing and cheap enough that you needed be afraid of abusing them. I got a couple of years of hard work out of my last pair. Well worth picking up at that price.

Only downsides really are they're a touch heavier than some more expensive overtrews and the elasticated waist can slip down a bit if you're scrambling about.
Any idea what the waist sizes are for large and medium in inches?

Em note sure. I'm a 38" and use XL if that's any help.
That should be inches not feet, even just after Christmas!

Actually that isn't quite the case since the price is £27 if you have their discount card (which I don't) that costs £5. Additionally, if you don't have a local branch then delivery is £4.95. Still, better if you do have a branch locally and a card since you can try them on. I have ordered 3 pairs, hoping that one fits. Fortunately returns are free.

They are only £27 in certain sizes but good if it is your size. Size chart below:
Fantastic trouser that I've owned for many years never got wet in them or caused any issue in the snow that we get in Sheffield. I couldn't recommend them highly enough - fantastic price at £27
The size guide on this link may help someone, the guide on the Berghaus website doesn't seem to have all the sizes / leg lengths. (You have to click the size guide above the size selection)
Good deal, hot :)
Thanks for posting, just ordered a pair, nearly had ordered a pair of Regatta ones from a deal I found, but these are better.
ordered some.
nice one. hot
OK for the price, but very overrated.
how long is long?

I'm 6ft

could I get medium?

Buying one of those things I didn't think I needed. Thanks OP!
Totally agree with chrisf74. Buy cheap and buy twice. I have had a pair of these for two years and have worn them many times in torrential rain on exposed mountain sides - and stayed dry. So £27 delivered is cheap in my book. Voted hot.

The irony of it all. I'm the OP and in the end none of the three trousers that arrived were quite right. I am a 35" waist and 5ft 11.5" tall (1.81m). The XL is a little too big and the L is just right. Standard length (labelled as inside leg 31" was a little too short) and Long legnth (labelled as 33") was just right. I ordered 3 of the possible 4 combinations. Unfortunately I did not order L with long length. that is the one I need. I'm off to Go Outdoors! Very glad others managed to benefit though.
