excellent price for a great small waterproof. i prefer the trek thats a bit longer and covers my rear though:-D
#2
this jacket covers my bum, the gtx trek is double the price.
#3
are you a midget or have a bum between your shoulder blades:)

I was just pointing out that for a lot of people hilwalking in inclement weather the trek is more likely to keep your bum dry. the standard paclite is quite short if you are walking ih gusting wind/rain. I have used them both and prefer the trek but its all about personal but informed choice. I acknowledged this is a good deal but others might be interested to know it comes in a longer variant and wait for an offer on that.

Seems pretty expensive for what it is and definitely WAY overpriced at full price.

I would pay a tenner though

Not expensive for a good GoreTex product.
#11
Seems people just don't know what paclite fabric is.
I doubt that you'll get a paclite jacket of any make for less than this. Hot.

Goretex is not the be all/end all of breathable/waterproof fabric manufacturers.

Ditto Berghaus...

I know of a few places you could buy the fabric al lot cheaper than £60! Not saying I could make it for cheaper than £60 mind. But I'm not the factory in Vietnam churning out thousands of these.

At full price It's a lot of money for a non-technical jacket.

the total cost of materials are always cheaper than the sale price of the manufactured item.:whistling:

Bought one of these for Mrs LPD this afternoon from Loughborough Go Outdoors (just checked and was actually a
W Paclite Jacket).

Black and Size 12. A steal at £59.00 (plus discount card at £4). Not quite as good a deal as the Berghaus Tasman Paclite I bought myself from Additions Direct two months ago for £40 quid though!
