You have got to be kidding me, does anyone still eat this filth? Bird flu, squalid conditions, jet-washing of carcasses ring any bells with anyone. I wouldn't feed this stuff to a dog or any processed meat to be fair.
Cold from me i'm afraid, you couldn't give this stuff away and get any warmth from me, yuk-yuk-yuk
Yak .. not voted cold as morals aren't the issue - but flipping heck, just the name Bernard Mathews makes me want to chunder! *shudders*

there was a report in the paper the other day about price rises i.e. petrol, bread etc. they said the only food that had gone down in price was Bernard Mathews.

On another note. I see BM are now doing free range turkey slices, totally different packaging and if you look at them you will be hard to notice the BM logo as its very small, light in colour and doesnt stand out very well on the packet. I wonder why?
Not voted as it is a good find by the OP, but, Wouldn't feed it to a dog. :whistling:
student food.

Its almost fact that their taste buds are immune to ****.

Mine used to be.
Here we go again
I prefer to buy sliced meat from the Deli counter, you may be surprised that it's generally cheaper than the pre-packed stuff. Not voting either way on this, it is a good price for this product, but personally I think there are better alternatives for similar money. Got to agree with Shengis though, I think this thread could be in for a hard time, although whatever gets said about Bernard Matthews, I'd rather eat this than anything with a Rustlers name on it!
I have to agree with Gary but not voted cold as it was a good find BUT I can't believe people eat this stuff!!
Rather eat vegetables and I am a comitted carnivore.

Probably the same stuff taken out of the pack!
its bootiful

It's not as I our deli counter was recently closed for nearly while they got the slicer fixed. No cold meats at all!
Haa haa, i used to work on the deli at Somerfield, the meats not always what it seems. Guidelines are that sliced meat should have a 1 day shelf life, some of it was left out for a week, out of date joints were cut up, and sometimes different meats (cheap cooked ham) was sold as more expensive meat when there was none left

Also BBC Whistleblowers went into Tesco and Sainsburys a couple of months back
Yuk No way, should shut the place down :x
You don't have any of these problems at Waitrose...
