Best Buy Cribbs Causeway Bristol opened today and they are having grand opening weekend deals. I've linked to their electronic catalogue though they have a lot more offers in store than they have in the catalogue. I particularly liked the look of £150 off a 13" MacBook or MacBook Pro (making it £799 now) though sadly I can't afford it even though I won a voucher to spend £100 there this weekend. (Worth popping along just for that!)

They are also giving out free memory sticks when you sign up for a free loyalty card.

The 32" Toshiba they have at Best Buy as the "lowest price in the UK" is £10 cheaper at Richer Sounds, and £8 more with a 5 year warranty.

Thanks. Very useful to know. Especially as they will price match + 10% of the difference back too.

Better check though that your local Richer Sounds has them in stock, else sadly Best Buy won't price match. Although to be honest if you are interested in the TV the £8 extra for a 5 year warranty/servicing at Richer Sounds, plus your money back at the end of the period if unused is more appealing than getting it for £188.99

Hi there,

I just wanted to clarify with regards to our warranty.

Our 5 year extended warranties on TV’s are not refundable if unused at the end of the 5 year period. It is only our Supercare warranty (available on most non-TV categories) are refundable at the end of the period.

For more information, please see our website at the following link:

Meanwhile, please do let me know if I can be of any further help.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the clarification, It was clearly a wrong assumption of mine, did not realise there was a difference between supercare and the extended tv warranty.
