I wouldn't buy anything from Bestbuy ever again, they are the car phone warehouse in disguise and if you value customer service then stick to John Lewis or even Comet. These guys really are an uber pain to deal with, its the old Dirty Harry thing ... Are you feeling lucky punk...
#13
Is that Sony price pre or post Sony VAT back offer? If its post, then its exactly the same asking price as Amazon's.
#14
After cashback I believe/

Is the Acer laptop decent value for what you get?
#15
I have just purchased the Sony 32ex403 TV for the bedroom, nearly didn't because i was worried about the 40ms lag. Ive got to say i don't find it a problem whatsoever, however I'm not sure if it would be noticeable on a 40"

Love the internet TV and HD reciever

Not to play devil's advocate but they have been absolutely brilliant to me.

32' Toshiba for less than £200, delivery booked by phone with a 2hr time slot which was achieved despite the snow and a courtesy call the following day to ensure all was ok.

will have a nosey tom !!

Seems to be only £25 more at Amazon.

COMET for good customer service you are kidding arent you!! if their service is as good as in the states when it cant be half bad. bought a laptop from them and the speakers were tinny, took it back and exchanged it no problem at all, had all been installed. the second was also tinny took it back and got a refund no questions asked.

If that's true, then their price isn't any cheaper in the sale - as its currently £548.99 anyhow.

And what are you basing this on?!? I bet you are the type of person who wants everything yesterday and when its a minute late you try and kick off to get some money back...not a cool look!! I went to Derby bestbuy and bought the acer laptop (which was £299.99 instore) and they could not do enough for me! They offered help set it up and take off any programmes that i didnt want!

Best Buy is like Ryan Air, they are good unless something goes wrong.

Actually if you know your stuff BB bought a quarter odd of CPW for help in its US market with selling phones which worked out for them (except that CPW is worth f all now) Now BB have come to the UK to expand BB, CPW have no ownership to them its the other way round. If you have been to a store on opening you would know they got BB US staff over to train UK staff,

You are basing it on CPW owning and controlling BB which is just wrong get your facts right and dont brand a company based on someone the bought.

So are you just basing it on incorrect facts?

Hi when did you buy the 32" for under £200? I must have missed this!

How is the sony TV cheaper than before, it's already at £467 with the VAT cashback right now?

This was my point earlier, and possible a good example of Best Buy misleading consumers - stating its in their sale whilst advertising the price after cashback.

I know, comments like these are a waste of time unless people provide an explanation of why we need to avoid them.

I know, comments like these are a waste of time unless people provide an explanation of why we need to avoid them.

heres why - I ordered 32" Sammy mid November to be delivered today - when i logged onto their website today to check status - it simply said "order recieved" - i rang their helpline - decent chap but all he could explain was "for some unknown reason your item hasnt gone throught the picking process yet" - I cancelled immediately - because within a two week timeframe i had no communication telling me there was a problem with my order - i only knew when i checked myself - useless company

Not bad as that should drive down the price of the Dell 1018 Netbook to just under £200.00p. :D
#34
im guessing the 40Hx803 and 40NX713 have been hiked up an extra £400 so that come closer to xmas, they can advertise the same deals as before ie £1169 for telly plus Blu ray deal or ps3 deal with £400 off!

Quick update to say the price reductions are now showing online.

Only one I could see was the Dell Mini 1018 Netbook (cashback would knock the price down) but I'm hearing it's not that great as Dell has dropped a USB Port off of it, removed the Microphone In Port and also only has One Speaker in it! :(
#38
Some extra savings available as Top CashBack are currently offering 14.89 % cashback for purchases from BestBuy.
#39
Just to say, so far, from Bestbuy I've received nothing but excellent service and pricematching on 2 deals. Don't know about the negative comments above, but I'd go back there, no question.
