Yep, gone back up again now unfortunately. Hope some people managed to get it.
Gone up to £1,751.94

It seems the price has gone up and down at Debenhams Plus, BHS Direct and Laptops Direct :(
Pretty surprisingly, this is still available at this price. Not sure why it's not hotter yet! Hope it helps some people get it!
Make sure you buy the one you want in the first place, as you can't upgrade the ram or hard drives in the new Macbook Pro's

Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Laptop (Dual-Core i5 2.4GHz, RAM 4GB, HDD 500GB) @ Amazon £889.00

Sold by A Blue Gift and Fulfilled by Amazon. Or £894.99 from Amazon proper (the preferable option in my opinion). I'm not in the market for a Mac but this is a good deal.

I hate it when people just talk about specs and don't appreciate that its how the OS uses the specs, and thats why I like Apple's computers because their OS just seems to not gather as much clutter and get bogged down over time as Windows does.

Shockingly bad value. Similar spec windows laptops are less than half this price.

Really tired of this too now.

Can you find me a magical windows laptop that (officially) runs Logic or Final Cut Pro? On the spec side, how about one for half this price that displays the full sRGB colour gamut on screen and is reasonably portable?

I don't need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to drive to work, but some people do. Are all 4-wheel drives bad value for money just because I can buy a 2-wheel drive more cheaply? Of course not.

I can buy a Porsche for £40000 or a Mazda for £20000, both will get you to where you want to go, marketing is a wonderful thing and we all fall for it one way or another, some more than others, fact is we need people who are willing to spend more, if not we are all out of a job...
No you cannot buy a Porsche.. end of story ! :P

Also show me a windows latop that is one piece of steel, solid build, amazing touchpad, and starts up and shuts down in seconds.

I am not a fan of the ipad, and lots of stuff apple chose to do, but I love my macbook pro, and would not swap it, and I have had Hp laptops and dell xps's ect..
