I don't know if everyone has played the demo but this game is really intense and is deemed to be the best game yet, even OXM has given this game 10/10, which is the first ever game to do so.

I also think this is the special Tin edition of the game as well, which is obviously worth more than the standard casing but don't quote me on that and if it is, then that's an extra added bonus.

Remember that Shopto are brilliant with pre-orders, many games arriving at least 1 or 2 days prior to the launch date, so i'm placing my order now.

Hope this helps. :)

Also, before anyone asks, Shopto only debit cards once the game is ready to dispatch on the same day, so it'll probably be debited by next Tuesday or Wednesday and be with you either Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. :)

Don't forget that Shopto also have a pre-order promise, so if the price increases later on, you'll still pay the lower price of £32.99 but if the price decreases, you'll pay the lower price again, so it's a win win situation. :-D

Hope that helps. :)

Not the cheapest, but shopto dispatch games on Tuesday. So you could playing it on Wednesday.

I was thinking of dropping my cheaper pre-order and paying extra £3 to get it early.

As far as i can see, They are the cheapest, unless you buy from Asda who offer it for £35 but i think they may still be running the 10% voucher, which makes it about a £1.50 cheaper but as you said, Shopto are very efficient with there pre-orders, whereas i'm not too sure what Asda are like for pre-orders and if it's dispatched from the channel Islands, it'll take at least an additional day on top of that.

To be honest, it's worth paying the extra money, I've been dying to get this game for months and after playing the demo, i'm intrigued by all the extras, even though the demo itself didn't match my very high expectations.

BioShock @ ASDA = £31.47
Using discount code: ENT10 to get 10% off items over £30.

That includes delivery and is sent on release.
UK version too.

Hope that helps,

Sadly this looks to be the standard edition - the Tin Box one is £36.99

Hot, cancelled my asda preorder as I know shopto are more than likely to get it to me before release, not too sure about asda.

Worth the extra quid or so IMO, cheers!

Damn, i'm surprised this deal is so cold, it's a great price and Shopto will probably have your copy out before anyone else on the market, so i'm surprised it's being rated at -30.4 already.

Me too tbh, shopto was the first place I checked when I went to pre order this game and the only reason I didnt was because it was £36.99.

At £32.99 its defo worth paying the extra, shopto are probably THE best place to buy games from atm - who else sends you a complementary text to say your order has been despatched? <3 Shopto!

I voted HOT anyway :>

Bioshock is multi region, you can grab a pre order from play asia for about £25 for the cheapest, but you have to wait a week after everyone else is playing to get it.

Exactly, everyone will be telling you how great the game is and you'll have to explain to all your xbox live friends you'll join them next week because you tried to save a little bit of money. :p

Don't forget that you could require to pay customs tax for any order over £18 from outside the EU, even though this is quite rare on small items but another issue with buying from Play-asia is the trade in value is non existant, as highstreet retailers won't accept japanese versions of the game if you ever wanted to trade it in the future.

i'm unsure to buy the standard or limited version, does anyone know the difference between the standard and limited version??

The NTSC-J version isn't out till 14th September plus the 2 week delivery times. You be in for a long wait, just to save £5.

There are three different versions out there - there's the Standard version, the Tin case version and the Collectors Edition (containing a soundtrack CD, bonus DVD with "Making Of..." videos and a Big Daddy Figurine).

It doesn't have multiplayer. This is probably going to be game of the year, the demo was brilliant so it's a day one purchase.

I'm just going to buy it at my local ASDA and it will be a bonus if it's the same price as ASDA online.

I got mine from GAME (the tin box one, not the standard one).

£39.99
- £5 fanta voucher (got a couple left if you wanna PM me).
- 11% Quidco

Total: £31.14 and 720 (off the top of my head) loyalty points towards next purchase.
