I know summer is over (did it ever really start?), but you never know when we might get a mini heatwave!

This 10ft Bestway swimming pool is made from high quality, durable material. Its self rising so all you need to do is inflate the top ring, insert the hose & let the water do the work. It also comes with an external filter pump.

It only takes two people an average of 10 minutes to set up with no tools required, and then you're in, relaxing and splashing away as much of the day as you'd like. Also it's durable, featuring triple-strong sidewalls made of three layers of material for reinforced strength. It's much quicker and easier than traditional steel-walled pools and nearly as tough. It also has a convenient drain plug that connects to your garden hose so the water can be drained away from the pool when youve finished with it.

Above ground pools are great for people that are looking to get a swimming pool. Theyre relatively cheap compared to in ground pools as theres no installation required & you dont have to dig up the grass in your garden.

There are quite a few different styles & sizes available so its best to decide where you want the pool before you purchase so you can get an idea of the size that you need.

Also think about who will be using the pool. If you have young children you may want to consider a pool ladder that will make getting in & out of the pool much safer & easier.

Heat is also an important factor because although the sun is out there will be a lot of water to heat up. The best way to heat your pool is with a heater to take the chill off & then a solar cover to retain the heat over night so it can be used the again the next day

If you are going to put your new pool on the grass then you could also look at breathable ground sheets. They allow the air to circulate under the pool & prevent the grass from dying.

Swimming pools are a great addition to your garden. The kids will love it & theyre great for adding something extra to parties & BBQs.

Why go to a public swimming pool when you can have this in your own back garden?

Fantastic - Hot from me.

H&R'd

I've had one of these for two years and the kids love it. Buy some chlorine granules from ebay to keep it clean though. Th epump is starting to fail on ours and the pumps alone cost £30, so this is a bargain indeed. Ordered, cheers OP.

Nice, used 5% voucher, plus went through Quidco (possible 10%?)

Sorry forgot Quidco, had to post this really quickly as my boss was looming over me!

As cold as the water is cold because I can't afford to heat several hundred gallons. I bought one similar to this, waste of money, hardly suitable for the English climate, takes an age to fill and never warms up, my kids hated it. Killed the grass too.

Have to laugh at the description - "swimming" pool? I don't think so. Extra deep paddling pool more like.

Also a very cheap option for storing fish such a Koi carp while you are carrying out maintenance or cleaning on a pond.

cheap to buy very expensive to maintain.

£40 on chemicals(ph balancing and anti fungicide and oxygen granules as i didnt want to use chlorine) then you need filters for the pump, your sposed to replace this every 2 weeks according to them.

Then you need a net and something to clean the bottom of it like a vacuum cleaner. then the solar cover and a proper one on the top.

Then you need to make sure you have a power connection in the garden then you need a rcd.

I bought a heater as well but ran it for one day and it cost nearly £10

Although the kids enjoyed it for the few hot days, it was far to much trouble for me. Checking the ph levels and then balancing it then the cleaning and taking covers on and off

ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Some good points made, but my view is for £17.47 delivered even if it gets 5 days use per year for the next 2 years thats less than a pint of beer per day. I don't need it to be ultra-warm or perfectly PH balanced. The price compares well to other paddling pools as well - I can't wait!
