the sides are tapered, and yeah, if you sit on the edge water might escape, but thats true for any inflatable pool
my kids were in and out all the time in ours last summer and i never saw any leakage, me? hell, i can just walk in lol. im a bit taller than a child :p

i have 1 of these and if i were u save your money they are a load of **** i got 1 last year they are almost inpossible to get round but thats not the worst i had to change the water every 2 days which takes about 4,6 hours and watch it contantly to make sure its alright the ring round the top inflates and the water level makes it rise if your not watching it it fills up funny and pours out the side ripping the ring but by far the worst thing is the pump its not capable of cleaning a bucket of water let alone a massive amount of water like this within hours the waters cloudy cause its not doing its job its very noisy and worse that that the lead is not very long and with kids splashing about u have to worry about electric shock thay are rubbish save your money or get Dysentery from the water by the way voted cold

You really shouldn't need to change the water every 2 days, your problem is that you didn't treat the water!!

If you get one of these pools, buy some Chlorine, or if on a budget at least some bleach! Probably best off buying a proper kit so you can measure how much should be in, could probably find one on eBay, surely much better than wasting all that water, and probably a lot cheaper, and also warmer... and also more hygenic!!

Water properly chlorinated should be fine, the filter isn't going to work if the water isn't treated, it wont kill bacteria/algae growth etc!

First part good advice............. second part not so good!

Buy a proper kit, about £20!
