I'm sure the RNLI will endorse such a product ..NOT !!!! these shouldn't be sold , an offshore wind and suddenly your a mile out to sea !
that is like saying a boat should not be sold as they can be taken out to sea.
great product and great idea. but not for those who fear water.
heat.
a boat has an engine / oars/ sail as a means of steering etc and also should be equipped with life jackets / flares etc ...You obviously have not experienced the tragedy such 'toys' can bring ! I suggest you visit an RNLI station and talk to the crews !

OK captain happy, take a chill pill

For a start, make the most of the beautiful weather? I haven't seen any all summer.

What happens if u float away? How do u get back if u can't swim?

Couldn't take it on holiday coz the extra weight would be too expensive, using it at the beach means carrying a pump around.

But I still want one :D

I agree there are plenty of idiots out there and these would be resent, if ever, suitable for our shores. Saying that, I can think of a couple of beaches/bays near me that I would be able to use it with the right conditions and I would be able to push/wade it out, plus I would attach an anchor.

However, I'm sick of the nanny state reaction to idiotic behaviour that then restricts the rest of us, e.g alcohol consumption: licencing hours, prices etc.

Edited By: Rickardo on Aug 10, 2016 12:49: Typo - rarely, not resent!

Totally agree. They should have included a picture of a coastguard helicopter winching people to safety whilst this inflatable enters the shipping lanes!! Do not use in the sea.

I am having a panic attack now thinking of which silly beggars are buying these.
Yes, I fully agree they look good and it's great for the family ....but OMG...I would need Bear Grylls to be on mine...and I would still have white knuckles, clinging on to the sides.
Heat added for the comments. oO

Why would anyone use this at the beach? You'd have to be mad. Not sure you'd be too popular taking it to a swimming pool either unless the pool was very large and very quiet. Only really of use on lakes etc. - large enough, and no need to fear being swept out to sea.

Death trap!!! It scare the hell out of me. I have a small dingy with a small outboard, marine radio and life jackets and I think that is dangerous but compared to this!! No Way! Good price though I suppose

It'd be okay in the sea if you tether it well enough to the shore, but of course people will use it in the sea without tethering it. Let Darwin's law take care of them.

Yep, was about to say the same. Surely it must come with the facility to tether it. Otherwise at sea it's a deathtrap.

Be careful the weight of your head doesn't make it tip over and throw you into your lake

This would be a perfect addition to have alongside a portable bbq.

I live in Scotland so next time we get the bad weather and the place floods again the neighbours will be jealous seeing me floating down the street in this bad boy.
