@scottswaha Both these suppliers appear in the comparison on USwitch mate. Although they don't seem to come up on that site well known for giving away the cuddly toys.

ahhh Cheers.
Not really heard of those suppliers, but I do not expect it matters...
Funny you should post this as only yesterday I was looking at Better Energy and Daligas since I'm currently in the process of buying a flat.

Just done the maths in case anyone is looking for a direct comparison between these two suppliers. It is as follows.

Better Energy per unit 3.5175p, standing charge 15.75p per day
Daligas per unit 3.3075p, standing charge 19.16p per day

The break even point between these two suppliers is £30pm. If you use less than that you're 'better' off with Better Energy, above that you'll find Daligas cheaper.

I found this extract from Better Energy's FAQ's quite interesting:

Q12. How often do you review your prices?
There are many variables that affect the price of gas. We try not to change our tariffs to customers more than is absolutely necessary, and usually not more than once a year. When we do notify you of a change to your tariff, if you then tell us that you will be changing supplier we will defer the price increase to allow reasonable time for this to happen, so that by acting promptly you can avoid the effect of the change.

Daligas is cheaper for most. Slightly higher standing charge ( by £1 per month ) but lower cost per unit.
£5.55 per month standing charge ex vat
3.15p per KWHH ex vat

Prices are fixed for one year with them too. You can leave at any time without penalty.

British gas would cost me £873 for the next year ( thats without the 8.4% increase they have announced)
Daligas is £665 for the same amount of gas ( and fixed for a year)

Have to wait until Jan but I'll defo look at Daligas then...Cheaper than my locked in deal with npower BEFORE their increase.
It doesn't appear on the comparison sites....wonder why,,,,
Been looking as my deal for Gas ends in January, thanks for posting
Leccy is up this month, any deals on that anyone?
