Went to my local asda this am they have betty crocker devils food cake mix and various tubs of frosting for £1.00. You can bake a big moist cake with this , they also had the brownie mix which I have not tried before but will give it a go at this price.
I am new to this so sorry if it is a repeat post .

Its worth double checking your local if you tried previously, I'm not sure why the offer didnt kick in nationally at the same time?

Betty crocker for consistently good cakes & sweet things ...except for that ruddy shake & pour pancake batter stuff!

yummy. they turn out fab. not suitable for veggies though..

What makes you say it's not suitable for vegetarians? The fact they need eggs?

Wish ASDA had the same range of Betty Crocker stuff that their partners across the pond Walmart have! I just brought back a suitcase full of various cake mixes back, they all worked out around £1 too :) Pilsbury & Duncan Hines stuff is amazing too.
#14
Carrot cake & the thick icing too, all £1
#15
mmm Duncan Hines are also brilliant!

If you add a sachet of pudding mix, or something like Angel Delight over here, the cake is even more moist.

I bought these from Waitrose on Sunday. They were £1.09.
