you can pick up really good Tahini in most asian stores, 900grms for around £4. Ok price if you dont have them near you though. I use Tahinin in almost everything I cook and even use it to make my own chocolate and sauces so we get through a lot of the stuff, really healthy!

I have a pak foods near me, only just become a customer have to put it on my shopping list, thanks for the tip.

They do all kinds of nuts, what I find odd though is you can never seem to buy walnuts in bulk, strange.

Tahini is really versatile and like I said you can use it as a base for sweet and sour foods. Walnuts can be bought in 1kg bags as well for about £10 very expensive. However lidl do american walnuts very cheap in comarison. So when they have them in stock I usually buy about 10 boxes from them! lol
