Can't see a price or buy button :? Amazing price if its genuine !
#2
There's no buy button, otherwise I'd bite their hand off!
#3
Not showing a price so must have been a mistake.
#4
no link to buy it - so its either sold out, or a misprice
#5
Added the ?add=918182 to the end of the url, it then shows up in my basket at £49.99 delivered - obviously might be a bit dodgy trying to order this way, but who knows...

#6
deffo misprice, they are selling the 7800 for £300 so why would this be cheaper?
#7
same thing happened with the 8600GTS deal I put up, same price and must have been a misprice and they've stopped it as soon as they realised it. No doubt both will come back on later with a much higher price. If anyone does get this (doubtful) then well done!
#8
I took the plunge and ordered this for the £49.99 link so hopefully this goes through but i noticed it was showing as out of stock!
#9
Just done the same, £49.99 showing out of stock.
Let's see wot happens :)
#10
Yeah I have ordered lets see what happens !!!
#11
well good luck!
if anyone wants a 7800gtx though, let me know because i got one.......
#12
Just dones the same bought a 7800GTX 18 months ago for 480 quid so this is a miss price but eh sounds good BTW whats play's opt out clauses in the T&C anyone know?

Don't think they can just cancel like Amazon but don't know :S
#13
Snowballs chance in hell methinks but its ordered anyway .
Do you know of anyone who actually got graphics cards before at these prices and they honoured it?
#14
just ordered one. if it comes for £50 you cant go wrong
#15

Yeah I have ordered lets see what happens !!!

I've ordered it too.

However, if Play alter the price in the meantime and it 'comes back into stock', do they have the right to ship the item and at the same time increase the price payable, (thus collecting a higher amount from our debit/credit cards)?

Any advice appreciated, cause I have a wedding approaching and can't afford a huge debit from my account this close to the big day !

Cheers!
#16
I got my order in before they removed the buy button and changed the price to £50.

however at the bottom of the "Confirmation of order received by play.com" email it reads:

Please note: This is an 'open' order and has not been processed by our dispatch
department. No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and
Play.com until Play.com dispatches the product(s) ordered. We will confirm that
the product(s) have been dispatched by a confirmation email. This confirmation
e-mail amounts to an acceptance by Play.com of your offer to buy goods from
Play.com or a third party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by Play.com
(whether or not you receive that e-mail).

so basically they can cancel and there is nothing we can do about it.
#17
id be VERY suprised if u got this for £50

these are big boy cards retailing at £150 +
#18
Has a fan, so I'll wait on passive cooling for my £50.
#19
Can only try if we do great deal if not it was just 30 seconds of clicking a couple of buttons :)
#20
When I ordered the Wireless USB connector from play (deal from last week), I got an email saying that it was a misprice and that any money charged will be refunded. If this does turn out to be a misprice, I suspect the same will happen.
#21
I reckon you'll get the "Security Check" routine!

I do hope this does not involve a burly security guard and a rubber glove...:?
#23
this is even more ridiculous than the amazon 8800 gts misprice, if anyone gets you are a very very very lucky person indeed.
#24
I ordered both of these but I am sure it another amazon

Nahhh, they pretend they are checking out your Credit Card and move the status of your order to "Cancelled" after a few weeks, despite telling you over the phone that your details checked out and your order will be dispatched right away!
#26
not expired i ordered 1 a minute ago
#27
Misprice and a half. WalterSmith - I hope that is a joke about the fan :-D

Good luck to anyone who orders, but can't this one arriving!

twas said in jest :p
#29
is this for laptops or for PC's?
#30
It's for desktop PCs - most laptops compatible with a 7900 will either have it already (primarily XPS M1710, Clevo M575) or they need a custom module from Dell/Clevo etc. to have it in your machine.

Same here m8, just logged in again to check the status and its just been removed from my orders list and set to cancelled (when i've done no such thing) :x

Yet my m8's is in the post and a couple of other people I know on other forums have had theirs sent out as well.

No e-mail or anything from Play, I wouldn't have even know if I hadn't had logged in.

Sucks how they've sent it to some and not to others, if they were going to send em out they should have sent it to all those who got an order in at that price.

Well miffed to say the least. :x
#37
Mines cancelled as well :x
#38
