Great card for the money. I ordered one :)

I bought one of these 2 months ago for £180, great card, great deal, heat added

Meh. Personally I would buy one with a non-single slot cooler and overclock it myself. Very easy to do.
£116 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/142228
£130 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/140089 (zalman style)
There are a few others if you look around. The single slot 8800GT's can suffer from heat issues as well...

8800GTS 512Mb (new G92 type) are around £120-£130 now...

I don't think the BFG 8800GT OC2 has a variable speed fan so I think either its fixed at 29% speed or 100%. The BFG 8800GT OC has a BIOS update on BFGs site to fix this problem and not only is it £6 cheaper but it OCs better than the OC2 according to what I have read up.

BTW, BFG have a 10 year warranty on their graphics cards in Europe so its well worth paying a little extra over other brands like Palit and PNY.
