  More tea vicaaa, well tea or hot choc etc if they do them. Never tried either in bhs tbh found them expensive, I normal pick up sandwich from tess coses.

  I like the fact they clearly didn't bother to do the whole McDonalds "perfect food" for the fish and chips photo. Shove a load of chips and peas on top of each other then throw the fish over the whole lot. An authentic BHS restaurant experience.

  Every time i have been to our local two - the food as been cold and dire. Will still go for a freebie - but i always feel sorry for the folk that have paid full whack - they leave more that they eat.
  
  Hot though (which is more than can be said for the food). Don't know if its a local thing.
  
  Wish i had known earlier - dropped my mum off for a weekend away - and shes next to BHS - she loves free food :-)

  I can recommend the Oxford Street branch, I had the completely free fish and chips last time, the fish was very good, I should know, I use to sell Fish and Chips.

  Can I assume that you had told the manager to keep food fresh and hot? If you don't tell them they may not know. Just as a benchmark my local keeps the food warm on hot trays. They don't over cook, for fish and roast chicken they cook a batch and then ask the chef in the back to do more when the front tray runs low or run out. If a batch is being cooked you can sit down and then someone brings it to your table when it comes out of the kitchen.
