This is Sainsbury's own Belgian abbey beer, much cheaper than the brands. Shedloads of flavour, and much cheaper than the likes of Leffe Brune or Duvel. Yes, it costs more than UK-brewed mass-market lagers, but they don't have the same depth of golden flavour. Not a special offer, just a good buy for people that like Belgian beer and don't want to pay £1.50+ per bottle.
Worth picking up, in store or online, as there's nothing close to it for the price (66p/bottle)
Alc 6.0% vol.
Biére DAbbaye De Belgique is brewed in Belgium in accordance with an ancestral recipe and the master Brewer's expertise. It is a beer with a firm & generous head which skillfully combines expertly balanced bitterness and sweet malt flavours.
