Bicycle Mudguards set - £1.00 @ poundland. Front & rear set. Also @ family bargains @ 99p.
Both front & rear mudguards supplied. Plastic body, some metal fixings.
Suitable for most bikes but would say best for mountain bikes.
Red, blue and black available.
Saw them in Rugby, warwickshire stores in Poundland and Family Bargains stores. Possibly also in 99p stores too.
Not pro quality but perfectly fine if on a budget or for the kids cheap bikes.

For mountain bikes.
Never seen them before in there in four years in my local so not regular to me. I thought I'd give a heads up anyway. Not everyone knows whats in these stores and never listed on HUKD that I can see.
Can't disagree with that one, but some can only afford or want to pay for those type of bikes so this price bracket up to £10 is where they'll be looking. Each to their own. You'd be a bit dippy if you'd paid £500+ on a bike and put £1 mudguards on them!
Er, missing the point, arent we? Poundland dont do "special offers" or price drops but if comparing to other retailers its a good deal for the money, then surely worth a listing? For £1 (or even £5) can you name a deal thats going to give decent results for the money?
I agree, if you have £20+ to spend on them, but some on here don't. I have expensive Crud's on my MTB but my young son who throws his bike all over the place and wrecks it, has these on and no problems. Never said they were top notch but at a quid you can't expect miracles or compare them to something over 20x the price. Of course more money gets better options, cheers for that gem.
But if you only have a few quid, can any of you suggest any better ones in that sort price range, or is "spend more money" the best advice you can offer rather than sharing a potentially useful deal?

On the contrary I think you are missing the point of "Hot UK Deals", something which this is not. Just because it's only £1 it does not make it a bargain. As several people have already pointed out they are cheap tat and are a regular line. The same item can be bought from 99p stores thus saving yourself a whole 1p, but even at this price they would not be a hot deal.
a cr*p what people post here!! :p
I dont normally waste my time on these sort of responses but its getting more apparent that some HUK dealers enjoy posting derogatory comments, which they're entitled to, without suggesting suitable alternatives. Not in the helpful spirit of hukd. This is a forum and whilst your not obliged to be helpful, it does seem selfish and sways opinion.

Baz. Agree and understand what your saying and agree theres not much to expect for £1 and you pay more you get better options. Thought I'd share a deal I'd not seen before that worked for me and hopefully others that are on a tight budget with limited options. My sons mudguards are still doing fine but so are my 25x more expensive ones on my bike.
If your after no frills mudguards these'll do, but for long-term investment, get some SKS mudguards, much better. (and somebody who can understand the instructions.).
That said, I suppose the black one would be fine, assuming you can get them, never seen them in other colour than red or blue.
