Big Fish Games credits are £2.69 today

silkhuksilkhuk

This is a really, really good time to stock up on game club credits. £2.69 is a bargain price for most of the games on there.

BFG Membership is free and there are no mandatory payments or contracts. Thus, you can sign up now, grab a handful of credits, and immediately "cancel" your membership - this will stop the monthly game club credit purchase coming out automatically but won't stop you using the credits you already bought.

So in a nutshell:

1, Sign up
2, Bulk buy cheap credits
3, Cancel recurring membership (if it forces you to set it up, which I am not sure it does)
4, Use credits any time in the future on games that are normally £5-£7

I'd also like to add for anyone on the fence, I've found BFG to be one of the friendliest, most polite bunch of people ever. Just the other day I made a suggestion to improve their game client, and they gave me a game credit for my effort. They're pretty awesome.

I don't think it's a good deal for what they are.

Am I missing something here is this company basically pumping out flash games for pay like about 2million other sites do for free? I think I would personally rather just go looking for the free flash games and work out what I like without getting my wallet out.

Not doubting that the site may be more friendly and less filled with "first" comments and profanity but I think it seems very expensive for what are often short lived levels of enjoyment.

Theyr'e casual games, and some of them do have a cut down "flash" version aye. In fact some of them first saw the light of day on flash sites before becoming fully fledged (bigger) retail games. Diner dash and Zuma spring to mind. It's hardly unusual - the exact same happened with Plants vs. Zombies, it went from a small-ish flash game to a bigger retail version on steam with more bells and whistles.

Anyhoo.. they're usually £5+ either on similar sites or in shops e.g. in GAME you'd get 2 for a tenner. Pretty simple things like hidden object games, or simple arcade classics as mentioned before.

I'm more of a hardcore gamer myself, but when I'm jsut looking to chill out or whatever I'll launch a hidden object game for an hour or so. Just completed "Amber Maiden" - was quite good, and lasted a long time to say it only cost me a couple quid!

@Philk that's a bit generic, some are good some are not, it's down to you to find the good ones of course. :)

    I'd recommend

    Puzzle quest (1&2)
    Azada (any in the series)
    Diner Dash (any)
    Cake mania (any)
    Farm Frenzy (any)
    Spirits of Mystery (either one)
World Mosaics (it's picross therefore awesome)

Also unlike this deal (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/any-game-big-fish-games-pc-mac-for-2-30-new-customers-1194274) this is for any customer, not just new ones.

    /facepalm

This goes cold whereas the near identical deal for new customers only got heat.

    It's HUKD at it's best!

TBH I'm getting a bit sick of this, I know a good deal when I see it, but starting to wonder why I bother posting here.

Sorry if ya missed out, I grabbed four creds, which was just over a tenner for 20+ hours of gameplay.
