Voted hot as I pay £41 a month just for broadband, but you're going to get slammed for this ☺

152mb fibre, I get 4mb on my ADSL connection - things I could do with that..

I wasn't offered this today- but I'll be glad to see the back of them. 150mb = 5mb in reality. Tv is ****, same as anyone else nothin special. My so called super Hub won't give off strong enough wifi to get upstairs. Roll on 5 months time!

I got a letter in the post the other day informing me of a price increase of £4-something starting in feb 2015. Small print at bottom states I can cancel at anytime before 15th January without any fees. I assume everyone will get one

Try getting powerline adapters or a wifi extender

Or just ask for the superhub 2 AC as this is the only router that will give you 152mb wireless. Also give a bigger wireless range. Standard super hubs won't go that fast as they don't have the capability of dual band wifi.

hardwire ftw.... i hit 159mbs i got this package, phoneline, free install 2nd box, for £33! got my gf and a friend on it too so netted £100!!

Is this through quidco ?

Everyone's opinion to their own, I completely disagree, in am on 50MB BB, I regularly do a speed test and get brill 52MB speed, best Broadband in my opinion in the country been with them for 12 years now (Telewest before), cannot fault them! Also got the new Superhub 2, full signal in our 3 storey house, never had any issues!

VM customer service leave a lot to be desired, but their speeds cannot be beaten through fibre.

I have the original 'super' hub and use a belkin wireless router and can get 50mb in most parts of the house, I have direct connection for 2 comps and an xbox 360 and get 150mb+ no problem, been as high as 175mb.

This really is a good deal.

If anyone is looking for an offer to use to convince retentions the topcashback have an offer for bt infinity. If you take the package with tv entertainment infinity bb and weekend calls it averages out at £28.58 over 18months after cash back £50 Sainsbury voucher and paying line rental up front (included in monthly average).

I have this deal. It's great. I average at 124mb even at peak usage times! Xbox, smart tv, ipad and two phones connected all at once and still runs smooth
#15
Chrisblood your wrong superhub 1 does do 152mb
#16
Superhub 1 and 2 are pretty much the same except Superhub 2 can operate in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Channels at the same time.

Im not wrong the 2.4ghz frequency can not transmit that speed. it will do that speed on a wire as it will bypass the router and just use the modem. wireless it wont and cant

Nothing like a load of cold votes without showing me anything better! Nice one
#19
Well thanks for taking effort to post this up. Don't see what it's getting cold votes based on experiences people have had with the company. Deal is a deal. I for one and with VM and have no issues tbh. I get close to stated speeds and superhub works as well as any other wireless router. Could be better, agreed, but doesn't justify a cold vote on the deal itself which is very good.

Cash back has reduced

I've managed to half my bill simply by renegotiating my package, was paying £71 pm now only paying £40pm 100Mb BB M+ TV and phone weekend calls. A 1TB Tivo box and Superhub 2 arriving Saturday. The missus wouldn't let me cancel to try and get a better deal, however I'm happy with it. Virgin in trying to get a £5 increase out of me have lost £30pm………..

I was on some outdated crappy package, so thanks to the original poster……….
