An essential kit for fans of the film - my third favourite after "Withnail and I" and "Behind the Scenes of TOTAL HELL".

Now Achievers everywhere can enjoy The Big Lebowski Kit a boxful of fun, Lebowski-style, with:

"The Big Lebowski" is arguably the most popular cult movie around! This kit includes 5 iconic components and a 4/c book featuring trivia and images from the film. The Kit includes an oriental rug mouse pad, 'staying finishing my coffe' mug, fake rubber severed toe - with nail polish, 'Dude' embroidered bowling-shirt patch, fridge magnet of John Tuttoro's Jesus charachter and 'Little Lebowski's Urban Achiever' certificate.

Its great fun for everyone even nihilists!

Do you know what? I'm as big a movie buff as they come and I really didn't get it the first time - I hated it. Second time through (watching at a mates) I bloody loved it and now watch it every few months (sometimes just in the background). A lot of the fans I've met have had a similar experience. Weird.

I'm not saying this will the same experience for you - but I hated it the first time and it's now my third favourite after Withnail and BTSOTH.

Can't say I hated it first time, I got the humour, the more I watched it though I found I appreciated it even more and more, the scripting and characterisation between them is so tight....sheer brilliance.

I think for a lot of people, certainly myself, you normally focus on the plot. It doesn't have a bad plot, just a deliberately ridiculous and over the top one. Once you accept that, you can focus more on the characters and the dialogue which is unsurpassed IMHO.

Yeah, everythings classic, timing, punch line, facial expressions...spot on! :-D

Here's one film thats a good reason for owning a HD DVD player for all the Blu Ray fan boys that never saw the point of all the cheap deals on HD DVD, this film still hasn't got a Blu release yet!

Sadly, but £7.49 delivered (cheaper than anywhere else) plus, if price goes down - that's what you pay.
#26
Worth it for the mouse rug alone; they aren't cheap (unless it's a, erm, cheap one!). Would be perfect if it came with a TIME 'Man of the Year' mirror!

PS. Johnson?

is the rug 'wee from a china man' proof?

Yeah - I saw this, and even cheaper at WH Smith too.

For the extra 50p (ish) you get it delivered to your door from Amazon - with a preorder price guarantee. The postage costs via Tesco, WH Smith .etc isn't worth it. If you can get it delivered to your store (does this happen?) then you may be able to save a few pence elsewhere...

That mousepad looks like it will really tie the desk together. :-D

Mr. Treehorn treats objects like women, man...
This is a great film, and as said before, gets better on repeat viewings.

I've seen that movie at least 40 times... utterly brilliant. I'll be adding this to my collection (much to the missus' disgust).
