Came back from Bletchley Home Bargains, and noticed these, which are about a £1 in most places.

Note these are not the normal bigger 40g Mega Munch (as they used to be in the old days!, yeah I remember), but the big 85g bag, so you get more munch for your money!

Plenty of stock, so assume available in other HB stores

I think my son would agree with you there, that's his fav!

But these have been my fav Monster Munch, well, since they first came out in the late 70's, except then they were Smiths.Thinking of Smiths, anyone else remember, Smith's Jackets?

lots of roast beef packets in my house as no one like the favour lol
#6
none in pontypridd today. would have bought 10 if they had them

I don't think they are the same as they were 'back in the day'. They seem to be more 'airy' and the mixture not as compressed etc (I know what I am trying to say, lol). It's the same as the space raiders, they probably changed the recipe to make more profit.

Yeah, you're probably right!

Space Raiders, blimey, I'd forgotten all about them, I suppose I'll have to try some now.

Exactly the same ones were 15p in the Preston Home Bargains. I double checked the date, cos these are usually close to sell by but it was the end of April. I bought I few packets, but I do agree that Pickled Onion Monster Munch are the best

Popped into York Clifton Moor this morning, they had the 40g bags (grab bag) that said 2 for £1 on the packet. asked the lady to check price and they came up at 15pence each....so bought a box !!!!.
Now in the good books with my pregnant wife :w00t:
