Back for 2010, Bigtrak! You might remember having one of these in the early 80's. Retro and cool, it's brand new for 2010.
This programmable educational toy is a six-wheeled tank with a front mounted blue photon beam headlamp used for firing. The centre wheels are driven by two motors to allow change of direction.
Use the 23-button keypad to enter instructions for Bigtrak. Where do I want Bigtrak to go? In what direction? How many units will it take to reach my goal? When do I want Bigtrak to fire? Do I want Bigtrak to return to me along a different course? With a 16 command memory, Bigtrak will execute 16 commands in one sequence, e.g. 'go forward 5 lengths', 'pause', 'turn 30 degrees right', 'fire phaser' and so on.
There is a 'repeat' instruction allowing simple loops.
Requires 3 x D batteries (not included)

Bigtrak is Back! Relive your childhood with this 21st Century officially licensed replica! For those of you that are either to young to know or to old to remember, Bigtrak was a programmable 6 wheeled tank with a front mounted blue photon beam headlamp and a 23 button keypad on the top. The toy can remember up to 16 commands. Simply enter them via the keypad and then watch it execute the instructed sequence (such as "go forward 5 lengths", "pause", "turn 30 degrees right", "fire phaser" etc). The revived model is an authentic reproduction that boasts all the features of the original, including the ubiquitous '80s go-faster stripes, blue headlamp, phaser sounds and repeat function allowing simple loops! And the best bit?...we've actually lowered the price from when it was originally launched in the 80's, so you can now pick up Bigtrak for just £30

I remember, it's the one the UK were worried about the Russians getting hold of in case they could use the technology to make weapons guidance systems.

Again some certain people voting on item if THEY like it or not..

This seems a good price my local model shops have them on offer at £35 so hot.

I wish HUKD would show the people who vote hot/cold - umm i wonder if we would see any trends? ?

Just because u cannot find it cheaper, does not make it a hot deal necessarily, the sooner people realise this the better, personally i think this is still a rip off for a basic toy i used to have when i was kid, cold, sorry

Ehh?!?! Its ALWAYS worked that way LOL. If I think that a "Sky blue pot elephant with pink polka dots" is crap the fact that its been reduced from £50 to 50p would mean that its still not a deal to ME and like others, Im allowed to express that opinion whether you like it or not my friend!!

HOWEVER, for the record, I didnt vote cold, mine was tongue in cheek as I actually owned one of these (with trailer) as a kid. I suspect that I would be pretty let down if I used one now..... as I said, better left a fond memory!!

Good luck changing the fundamentals on this site though.... dont commit too much time to it though 'cos you're on a hiding to nothing :p

So let us take a look at this, I managed to get something that I wanted cheaper than anywhere else thanks to this site... hey now I see how this works, so does that make it hot, I guess so oO

If it don't float ya boat don't vote, is my mantra :D
