This looks like a great idea and very affordable. Heat idea.

bought 2 last time (and had one from TK Max for £7.99.
they are a great idea.
I find it helps to bend the handlebar retainers to get a bit more support

Yea, good product.

Hot!

Are they easy to fit? My garage has a plasterboard ceiling, so I imagine the wife to be a bit nervous, especially with my DIY skills

As long as you have some way of knowing where the joists are as this is where you would hang it from, tapping is usually done but this is in no way fool proof.

This will not be of much use unless you live close to Wroxham in Norfolk, but I bought two the other week in Roys DIY store for £2.99 each (reduced from £9.99 each)

I wish my shed was taller now lol

Great idea for light/alloy bikes but max weight is 20k and a lot of steel bikes are over that so be careful!

Be quick, these always sell out very fast.

what a bike over 20Kg.
must be good for going downhill !!!

20Kg is blinking heavy
#11
someone getting confused between lbs and kg? :)

Even the clunkiest supermarket special will be about 16kg max
#12
are these going out on shelves as of thursday 17th?
#13
sorry just read start date.....

Quite.

But a supermarket special of less than, say, £100, with full suspension?

I wouldn't bet against it being awfully near such a weight if not more.

Full suspension bikes that cost in the hundreds can be quite chunky on weight until you approach the late hundreds to a grand.

I'm not convinced... I've lifted up some pretty darned heavy, budget, "full" suspension "mountain" bikes.
