In case people aren't aware, Bill Bailey's box set is out now:

The Inevitable Boxset - £27.48 at Amazon

It's on my Xmas list

Great price for Tinselworm though :)

I love Bill Bailey to pieces, but this is not a very good dvd. The jokes weren't as polished as when I saw the show, and the venue to way too big so the laughs are very quiet, ruins the atmosphere. But for £3? By all means.

Good price ordered with quidco too

Was at the Brum gig when the horn broke - thought it was staged but turns out it genuinely happened. Hillarious when he borrowed a mobile from the audience to call customer services about it (one of the extra scenes on the DVD). Definitely worth £3.

Don't feel guilty; Tinselworm was a p*ss-poor show! To think I paid £35 to see this crap live! Tinselworm's put me right off Bill Bailey. I'll have to disagree with The Captain, I think £3 for this DVD is still too much; you get a bunch of weak George W. Bush jokes (if you can call them jokes?) that weren't even funny when they were topical and the better material is recycled from his Part Troll show.

If you don't own it already, buy Part Troll instead. Otherwise, save your £3.

I saw Tinselworm live in Brighton (four rows in) and it was definitely funnier seeing it live - my face hurt afterwards! I agree that the DVD is poor because the venue is just too big and lacks atmosphere when compared with Part Troll (which is the best!). At this price you can't grumble - I suppose he won't better Part Troll tbh unless he spends another five years writing in a shed! Still one of my fav comedians :-D
