This criminally overlooked album TheFutureEmbrace is the only solo album by Billy Corgan, frontman of the Alternative Rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. Released in June 2005, the album's sound was markedly different than most of Corgan's earlier work, eschewing his characteristic "drums, bass, (and) big-guitars sound" in favor of an electronic sound punctuated with heavily distorted guitar parts reminiscent of shoegazing.

Worth the admission price alone just for the Bee Gees cover of "To Love Somebody" vocal duet with Robert Smith (The Cure)

Amazing deal. Not quite pumpkins standard, but amazing nonetheless.

There aren't many fans in these here parts though, as I posted this deal a while back to barely a ripple.

Superb album, but obviously not to the taste of some Pumpkins fans.
Worth wating Corgans appearnace on the Chris Isaak hour, if you get a chance (hint:search for isaak pumpkins on megashares)

Personally since Machina I think it is the best thing Corgan has done, I was not impressed with his "Zwan" project or for that matter the latest Smashing Pumpkins album. But yes, obviously it is according to tastes.

How can you go wrong when Billy is a huge Rush fan!

I don't see the musical similarities though! But you just made me want to dig out the new Guitar Hero and jam away to 2112.
