Whilst there are frequent deals for West End shows (Lastminute.com for instance) deals dont often come along for Billy Elliot. In fact on the rare days it comes up at the Leicester Square Ticket Booth its actually at more than face value, rather than half price which most of their tickets are.

This deal gets you £20 off the top price seats which are normally £60 for Mon to Friday performances. So for those that want to see this it is a fair saving.

So you seem to think that the Half Price Ticket Booth in Leicester Square which I have been going to for nearly 20 years now sell Billy Elliott tickets at more than face value?:giggle::giggle::giggle:

Nope, I dont seem to think it. I have checked their website to prove it.

Look at tkts (the website for the half price ticket booth) and you will see they are selling non top priced tickets which the theatre charge £42.50 for at £45.00. This was yesterday, but on many days they dont have any Billy Elliot tickets to sell.

Do people think posters start threads on here for personal gain??? The idea is to let people know about a deal. Why be so sniping in your response? If the deal is not for you move on.

Actually, looking a your posts, when was the last time you started a thread to let others know of a deal? Seems you prefer to hang around waiting to have a dig at other peoples' posts instead.

Well said Kevin.

I appreciate your spotting and posting of this offer as I am looking into a London trip in the near future.

I agree, having been to london that the half price ticket booth is rubbish, a ploy to get tourists-I have ALWAYS found a better deal at the theatre direct.

Thanks, voted HOT.
