Nice price for some great tunes, a forgotten rebel.

Definitely worth catching live if you can. Still got a body (at 50ish) that most of the teenagers today could only dream about.

Can't grumble at £2.75.

Why would teenagers want to have a body that has suffered two drugs overdoses & has a steel rod in one leg due to a motorcycle accident? But yes, apart from that he is looking very good for his age.

This aside, I'm a fan of Mr Broad & have added "heat" to the listing, but unfortunately I consider his most recent tracks (from the "Devil's Playground" album definitely, but certainly from the "Cyberpunk" album onwards) are nowhere near a good as those that were released in the 1980s.

I would advise just buying the "Billy Idol", "Rebel Yell", & "Whiplash Smile" albums, & the "Don't Stop" (EP) if you want the original versions of "Dancing With Myself" & Idol's cover of "Mony Mony" (studio version, not the later released Live version).

The output, sadly, has not really been the same since guitarist Steve Stevens left to form his own group ("...& the Atomic Playboys") after the "Whiplash Smile" album was released.

I hope he makes a big comeback soon... a great performer!

fp.
