If this is the same unit that was posted about 2 months ago, then it`s a hot deal as I bought it and used £3 off £30 voucher and free delivery.
Loaded TomTom7 maps UK+Ireland onto aSD card I had lying around and it works great.
A satnav with TT for under £40-HOT

I don't know (or want to know) where you got that copy of TT from, but just to be perfectly clear. This GPS comes with its own mapping software, the TT stuff is not included.

I got one of these last year which also included western europe for the same price. Still going strong.

this is not a good product.. i have used it for a month and it tells me to take a turn or exit after we cross it.. also it takes more time to recalculate a route. Now I am using Nokia 5230 with Ovi maps its free. I feel Ovi maps are better than Tomtom..

Thanks OP just ordered, but wondered if someone could give me some advice. Some reviews are saying it takes upto 20 mins to lock on ?! (ok 1 review, but still.... thats a long time). My current Tomtom takes around a minute.

what a bargain. bung tomtom7 europe on it, and you will have an awesome little unit for practically eff-all

had one of these with the A350 version - it was utter rubbish, very slow, poor maps and just bad quality all round. Sold it on ebay after a week as Argos wouldn't accept it as a return.

While I am WELL impressed with the 2 Nokia 5230s I bought for 65 quid each, and happy to use the Ovi maps for convenience on foot, to carry only one device but it is no substitute for TomTom 7 which I run on a 3.5" Navigon from eBuyer I bought for 35 quid!

Apart from being too quiet for a start, Ovi maps can't even work out quite where I live from my postcode, and I live in a house built since the late 80's! It's great at it's price, a free extra, but TomTom is not a market leading product for no reason, despite it's quirks!

The maps are not good, but stick in a tomtom sd card and its top notch...igo8 is also good maps from apple.

I can't comment about this loaded with tom tom, but as standard it is so slow as to be virtually unusable. It can take 10 mins to lock on when first started and up to 5 mins once you leave the same place as it has in the memory.
As stated recalculations are also very slow. The processor must be steam powered.
Can't recommend at any price:oops:

3 minutes tops to lock on with TT.
Excellent directions IMHO
