A load of old pants with the original software on it. However you can boot it with the legitimate copy of TomTom that you own, on an SD card, and it becomes a most excellent and bargainous device at this price.

I have an old tomtom that i don't use any more, I think it was V3 with the S/W on SD Card.

Do you have steps on how to do this please?

Wasn't this also posted some time ago and with someone posting a link to a website where, if you have never owned a TomTom, you could download the software and then uplod to the Binatone?

This might be helpful. Some people also recommend a site called SimpleSatNav.

I have heard that some people use the internet to illegally download software. However HUKD would get in trouble if it were discussed here...

i bought one of these fro xavii about a year ago. and although it can be good on some routes , on others it is completely useless , and sometimes it doesnt know its left from right. i would love to know how to get tom tom on it .

Does anyone know where I can get the maps update for a Medion satnav please?
Er...without paying the earth, or even the UK and Ireland (_;)

I bought one of these before xmas and was just about to put tomtom on it via simplesatnav when they had to remove all tomtom stuff "for legal reasons". So unless there are any other sites that have the sw whereby you can convert to tomtom, you may be stuck with this sw. to be honest I've found it to be ok at the moment, though haven't used it that much!

Simplesatnav / Thepctailor seems to have closed completely due to legal reasons, was a really good site as well :(

You can get one of these free from Sun Life insurance for over 50's (_;)
You sign up, get the nav, then cancell.
Most you might have to pay is one months payments.
Mind you, they also offer a Telly ! 8)

Not sure why everybody loves that Tom Tom software - I ran my Binatone B430 on it last year and by comparison to Igo 8 and Igo Amigo - TT is rubbish...:{

I'm trying to get my B430 to run US maps at the moment and failing miserably...as mentioned all the good GPS sites have disappeared :(
