no SMS then?

I don't like the look of these, just hope the quality is the same as of the black set I bought a while ago. Feedback at Argos site seem to indicate good quality. Heat from me.

Binatone quality is patchy in my experience but not bad for £20.

Title is wrong, should be "Bin-a-phone" cos thats exactly what you will be doing with this budget crap!! Invest a bit more and get Panasonic instead, you wont regret it!!

Just binned my Binatone twin-DECT phones - sound quality deteriorated until you could barely hear the person on the other end.

For £20, may be worth a punt if you're desperate for two phones and have no money, but otherwise I'd get a better-quality phone

u don't get 2 phones but for 19.99 a good Phillips phone can be had. http://www.clasohlson.co.uk/Product/Product.aspx?id=49845072

"good Phillips phone" is an oxymoron I think?

had to post cold as non available in Barnsley, Rotherham or Doncaster stores :(

Lucky escape :p

I bought some iDect ones a while ago and have to put the loud speaker on when talking on the phone as cant hear the other person otherwise. Looking for an alternative preferably with a very long battery life as hardly ever use the home phone and when I do the battery is always low.
Anyone know of any you can leave in the charger the whole time and it will cut off the recharging when full?

My Panasonics do.... had BT, Philips and Binaphone and the Pannys beat them hands down!! Love em!!

Agreed. I got involved in the Wharfedale Triple deal a few months ago. Ended up Ebaying. Panasonic FTW.

but don't most phone systems have an 'answerphone' chucked in these days? Virgin Media certainly have their own which cuts out the need for a 'standalone' one?

We desperately need new phones. Our Wharfedale ones are rubbish! I usually press the silence button or call the police several times per conversation - all with my cheek!
