Classic Top Tip from 'Viz' - avoid buying expensive binoculars, just stand closer to what you want to look at!

well yeah if he has tryed them, i have learnt that you can't just think something is crap because its cheap.

Binoculars for that price are going to be awful. The lens quality and alignment are not going to be of the required standard.

ok yeah i doubt there going to be great quality but all i need them for is just rare use for airshows etc so if they work ok i think its worth buying. they can't sell something that doesn't work surely?

I'd spend a bit more, really they are probably going to be crap, probably dont focus very well ansd what is the magnification? Spend a tenner on something a bit better. A tenner is about the minimum for binoculars really.

I'd be very careful about giving binoculars to kids. Even a rubbish pair will be capable of blinding someone if pointed at the sun. I think children should be very carefully supervised if ever they use binoculars.

Oh and while you are at it, tell your kiddies not to swing them round their heads in case you kill someone, don't try to eat them as small plastic parts may cause choking and do not set fire to them as the fumes are toxic..........

These are total rubbish - for any use at all. Save your pound and buys carrots - they would have more effect
#19
Been taught one thing: if binos are not heavy, they are a cheap waste of time (cos no proper glass prisms)!

WARNING! Never observe the Sun through your Meade binocular! Observing the Sun, even for the shortest fraction of a second, will cause instant and irreversible eye damage. When using your binocular during the daytime, do not point it even close to the Sun.
