Not a bad price, don't know enough about the game though to rate it, although I hear the online play is good fun.

Anyone know which system this performs better on before I buy ?

Heat added thanks..

My hero, Mike Patton from Faith No More, Fantomas, peeping Tom etc does this voice of the main character in this game, might need to buy it just for that reason alone :)

Looks like a tricky game, great price but I can do without the stress :-D

It wasn't as well received by the critics as hoped.

The two people I know have bought this wished they hadn't. I appreciate that is not any kind of help, but perhaps anybody interested could seek out some reviews or in-game footage before buying.

The fact that it has dropped to a relatively low price after a few months of release should indicate what the public thought of it though.

From Wikipedia.org:
---
Bionic Commando was released on May 19, 2009, and sold 27,000 units, in the US, during its first month. In comparison, Terminator Salvation, which received worse reviews from critics, sold 43,000 units in the same length of time.

VideoGamer.com's James Orry notes that the game "could end up being Capcom's first major flop in the high definition era." Bionic Commando has received mixed reviews with impressions ranging from very positive to average. Giant Bomb gave it 4 stars saying you'll either really love it or end up hating it. IGN gave it an 8.0 praising the visuals, and unpredictable storyline. GameTrailers gave it 7.7. Game Informer gave Bionic Commando a 6.25/10 in its June 2009 issue. X-Play gave it a 3/5. Gamespot gave it 6 out of 10, saying "Bionic Commando has some enjoyable moments, but consistent fun always seems just out of arm's reach".

I've finished it the other week. I thought it was pretty cool. Not the best tho. I usually only play really good games rated in the high 8s - 9s. on IGN. I liked the bionic arm, didnt know Mike Patton did the Bionic Commandos voice over. Still worth a look tho IMO.

don't see why not, i've ordered 60+ games from them in the past 12 month never had any problems.

Thanks OP. Never used shopto before but will give them a try. I loved this first time around on the NES.

I think you can pay by paypal now. I have to admit I was a bit annoyed that they store card details then remove them if not used for a short period then go through the whole rigmarole of making a small test purchase when you try to use the card again.

Punkytiptop, did something specific happen to you or you aware of a specific issue? Reason I ask is I tried to pre-order something a few months back and the pre-order took but my card got frozen the next day when the game was released. Most likely a coincidence but all my bank would tell me was the details had been used to buy a meal in Manchester (I think) whereas I was in Northern Ireland at the time.

Lucky you, I've order 7 and have had details stolen.

On topic, this was briefly £12.73 at the Hut so the price may drop further in not too long, but this is the best price at the moment.

Ordered - voted hot!

I ordered from this company and a short time later my card was heavily frauded. I couldn't prove the two incidents were connected but after reading this thread http://www.avforums.com/forums/gaming-bargains-discount-codes/1033412-fraud-buyers-videogames-english-online-stores.html Mobile phone topups seem to be the thing they go for and surprise surprise, my card was frauded for mobile top ups. I think it is pretty clear.

I will NEVER buy from them again.

YMMV.
