Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. You are the very first Big Daddy as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Multiplayer in BioShock 2 provides a rich prequel experience that expands the award-winning BioShock gameplay. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject in the underwater city that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players will need to use all the elements of the game's toolset to survive as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture.

Great price, but I'll wait for it to hit the sub £10 mark.

First game was a cracker and the reviews are showing this one to be just as good
#13
Gawd-dammit, i just blew £35 on this cos I couldn't wait. That'll learn me.

I was going to play the one I just bought, order this one then bring it back to the shop for a refund as it'd still be in it's wrapper. Unfortunately the barcode is different from the one I just got :-(

Believe it or not, I received bioshock 2 ps3 in the post this morning from lovefilm, being a member of course...it's not bad, but I still prefer my pc for fps games...just can't quit get the control right on the pad...much more fluid using a mouse...

Kinda....well the helmet part at least but it's a thumbnail so meh.

ordered. thanks a lot

why is this not SCORCHING?!

It's gonna be the biggest game of the year, and most places are selling it for £30 / £35 now that the pre-order discounts are gone. Couldn't get one in 2 stores when I tried this morning ...
#18
Does anyone know what kind of trade-in price I can expect for the collectors edition [PC].

Thanks

[Still sealed]

Very quick delivery, I ordered at 16:00 yesterday and it arrived this morning

I will be using this company more often in the future if they keep their prices competitive.

not seen it online for more than £30, more like £22-£25 average. not convinced this game will be as big as you think it will be either.

hot deal, however personally i'm holding out for 2K to add pad support to the PC version. the first game had it, and it's a "Games for Windows" branded title so really i had thought it was a given. :x

Why would anyone want to play a fps on the PC with a control pad? :? the mouse and keyboard setup is the main reason I bought it for PC and not my PS3 or 360.

i play all my games from my sofa these days so M+KB isn't particularly convenient. i'd get it for 360 but it costs more, runs slower and looks worse.

I was talking about instore prices. You're right about online prices, but I really wanted to grab one on my way to work on launch day :)

Thank you, ordered - its the one game I've been patiently waiting for (I upgraded my PC in anticipation of this). Great price, heat & rep added.

I searched for Biosock initially! :-D

How can it look worse than PC? The PC version looks so dated!! I saw the advert on tv last night and thought it was real game play footage taken from the PC version but it was not. :x

If the Xbox 360 version looks worse than the pc version god help the 360 - they could have added higher textures to the pc version. When you get up close to things it looks ugly. Plus the FoV is all messed up for widescreen.
