Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. You are the very first Big Daddy as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

Multiplayer in BioShock 2 provides a rich prequel experience that expands the award winning BioShock gameplay. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject in the underwater city that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players will need to use all the elements of the games toolset to survive as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture.

There all the same company but base does quico so it's worth ordering from them as you get cash back (approx 40p but it all adds up). Great post though goonertillidie as i grabbed a copy for my self.

Thanks! Heat & Rep!

Very decent prequel - fans of the first BioShock really should play. Also, even though the multiplayer got slated by some, it's a decent little XP progression shooter system. Nice deal -- H&R.

Hi guys, would anyone familiar with games for windows live be able to tell me if we can activate the cd key on that platform like we are able to do with steam? For example, basically activate the cd key to download the game off of Games for windows live servers wherever you go and not have to carry the cd around?

While a lot depends on the game, the answer is usually no. The CD-key activation on Steam only works on a limited subset of retail games, mainly by Valve (though all direcrt downloads are disc-free) . I have Gears of War on GfWL and that demands to have the CD in the drive at all times, despite being tied to my account and logged in. Unless an official patch has come out removing the need (unlikely on a game this new) you may have to put up with it.

I generally download a no-CD crack for purchased games just so I don't have to dig out the game disc whenever I want to play. You could always that on each PC you're going to play it on although of course you'll still need the original disc to install it in the first place.
